A 22-acre riverside site owned by the Camden Area Industrial Development Corporation at the intersection of U.S. 79 North and Bradley Ferry Road and visible from U.S. 79 North. This site sits along the Ouachita River and was formerly owned by

International Paper as the site of a pump station to withdraw process water from the river and pipe it to IP’s mill site. In prior years, it was the location of cotton warehouses and a dock for steam boats to take cotton down the river which is navigable to the Mississippi River. Currently, this site is accessible via Terminal Road through a residential section. The City has an engineered plan to build a new road access from Bradley Ferry Road.

Port of Camden Building (29,000 SF)

South Adams Greenfields Site (31.4 Acres)

South Adams Transload Site with Rail Warehouse Buildings (35,000 SF and 21,600 SF)
The Camden & Southern RR, a short line railroad, provides transload services between rail and trucks and arranges shipments with two Class I railroads with access to the site – the Union Pacific and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroads. The site uses rail and dock infrastructure which formerly served an International Paper mill. A 35,000 SF and a 21,600 SF warehouse, both adjacent to the rail, provide an opportunity for the storage of goods awaiting rail or truck shipment. The 17,837 feet of trackage on the site (7,283 feet of main track to interchange traffic and 10,554 feet of industry spur track) is owned by the Camden Area Industrial Development Corporation.

There are approximately 800 acres adjacent to the site available from one onwer for development. The Crossett Municipal Airport is approximately Five miles from the site. The city of Crossett maintains a 5,000 foot runway capable of landing corporate jets. The Crossett Economic Development Foundation owns the site.
