International Paper as the site of a pump station to withdraw process water from the river and pipe it to IP’s mill site. In prior years, it was the location of cotton warehouses and a dock for steam boats to take cotton down the river which is navigable to the Mississippi River. Currently, this site is accessible via Terminal Road through a residential section. The City has an engineered plan to build a new road access from Bradley Ferry Road.

The Camden & Southern RR, a short line railroad, provides transload services between rail and trucks and arranges shipments with two Class I railroads with access to the site – the Union Pacific and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroads. The site uses rail and dock infrastructure which formerly served an International Paper mill. A 35,000 SF and a 21,600 SF warehouse, both adjacent to the rail, provide an opportunity for the storage of goods awaiting rail or truck shipment. The 17,837 feet of trackage on the site (7,283 feet of main track to interchange traffic and 10,554 feet of industry spur track) is owned by the Camden Area Industrial Development Corporation.
